The Dubai World Cup 2019, the Champions League last 16, the Six Nations final, the return of the Formula 1, the Euro 2020 qualifiers, Cheltenham Festival, the FA Cup quarter-finals, Test and Twenty20 cricket internationals… March is action-packed with sporting fixtures.

Luckily, DXB has a wealth of different sports bars, restaurants and pop-up screens to make sure you’ll never miss a second of the big event while travelling.

Here’s your guide on where to head to in the airport, and don’t forget our guide to Dubai’s best sports bars when you’re back.

Cadiz Tapas Bar
Elevate your sporting experience to classier heights by heading to the airport’s top Spanish small plates restaurant. Not only can you watch the match on a number of flat screen TVs, you’ll be able to do so while tucking into some delicious tapas. From the classics to the contemporary, there’s plenty to enjoy alongside a glass of grape. Plus, this month the chef’s special is a spinach ravioli with artichokes, capers and sun-dried tomatoes. A perfect match indeed.
Concourse B, Terminal 3.

Cho Gao
This family-friendly restaurant serves up some delicious dishes from the Far East. Not only that, but you can slurp up ramen and dig into dim sum while watching the match on any of the big screens. Bartenders are more than happy to flick through for your chosen game, so don’t be shy of asking. And, don’t miss the spring rolls either.

The Draft House
Head up to the mezzanine level of Concourse D and make a beeline for The Draft House. You’ll find 18 live match screens, meaning you’ll definitely have a clear view of everything that happens, even if the referee doesn’t… There’s always a deal or two to be found, including food and drink combos during games. Check with your server.
Concourse D, Terminal 1.

Juniper Garden
This spot first popped up last summer during the scintillating World Cup. These days, you’ll still find a huge 110-inch screen, plenty of seats and a stall serving ice-cold beverages. What more can you ask for before travelling onwards?
Concourse B, Terminal 3.

Jack’s Bar & Grill
With another Super Bowl down and another Championship ring for Tom Brady, American sports fans will turn their attention to the final leg of the NBA season and the launch of the MLB season on March 28. And, the only place to be for that is in Jack’s Bar & Grill, where southern American charm is served up by the barrel. You’ll find burgers as big as the TVs and plenty of top-notch hospitality from smiling staff.
