Regent International School will welcome secondary students from September 2020

The educational opportunities for children in the UAE are outstanding with an ever-evolving landscape providing parents with so many schools to choose from and a variety of international curriculums to suit their child.

From the next academic year, another secondary option will be available for parents looking for a British curriculum school for their child.

Regent International School, which is currently undergoing a huge renovation that will include a revamped multipurpose hall, a new laboratory for applied science, upgraded classrooms, new early years library and the addition of a sports pitch, has announced plans to re-open its secondary phase with the introduction of Years seven and eight initially, before gradually adding more classes up to Year 13 in subsequent years.

Gaynor Dale, Principal of Regent said: "With these structural developments we look forward to better promote 21st Century learning skills, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills in our Regent Community."

The core subjects of English, maths and science will be interwoven with the humanities and visual, performing and liberal arts in these new year groups.
