The UAE’s first private, licensed cinema screen has opened in Dubai

If you’re looking for your next big movie night, consider heading over to Mall of the Emirates, because you can now privately hire out a 15-seat screen all for yourself and your mates.

VOX Cinemas at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has announced that a brand-new cinema has opened, and it’s the first one in the UAE that has its own private screening room as well as a private lounge.

We’re talking about top-quality food (Gary Rhodes’ GOLD is just around the corner, after all) to accompany your chilled-out and completely private, four-hour movie experience.

It’s licensed, too, so you’ll be able to grab drinks including grape and bubbly as well as mixed drinks, mocktails and soft drinks. Food includes mezze platters, French cheeses, burgers, grill items, a whole bunch of salads as well as desserts. Waiter service comes as standard, too, so you’ll never have far to go to satisfy your craving.

Packages start at Dhs3,000 for 15 of you, working out at Dhs200 per person if all 15 show up, and that comes with soft drinks and popcorn included – additional food and drink are available for extra cost.

Plus it’s all about those big, comfy seats, just try not to nod off and miss the whole thing.
Available upon request. From Dhs3,000. Kempinski Mall of the Emirates, Al Barsha, (055 167 3908).
