Dubai Opera hosting red carpet screening of Skyfall

His name is Bond, James Bond, and he’s coming to the silver screen once again at an exclusive red carpet screening at Dubai Opera.

To celebrate James Bond Day on Saturday (October 5), fans of the world’s classiest secret agent can watch a special screening of Skyfall to celebrate 50 years of James Bond this weekend.

Kicking off at 8pm, Dubai Opera wants filmgoers to dress to impress, with a night filled with tuxedos, gowns and even 007’s favourite drink.

Tickets are priced from Dhs60, while those looking for popcorn and a house beverage can get just that for Dhs95. There’s also an unlimited beverage package for Dhs120.

The story sees Bond (Daniel Craig) in an emotional crisis after a failed mission to Istanbul leaves the names of secret agents in the hands of an unknown villain.

Trips to Shanghai and Macau follow as 007 pulls himself together with the help of M (Judi Dench) and Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and tries to find the culprit.

Meanwhile, a foe emerges in Silva (Javier Bardem), one of Bond’s creepiest (and hugely entertaining) villains.
