Safe House preview

Denzel and Ryan Reynolds in action thriller

Old hand Denzel Washington and young Turk Ryan Reynolds head up this simple-sounding action thriller about a young CIA trainee (Reynolds) who has to move a dangerous prisoner (Washington) from one safe house to another when the first place comes under attack from assassins who wish to kill the prisoner for reasons as-yet unknown. The script is written by David Guggenheim and was highly sought after when it hit Hollywood’s Black List of top unproduced screenplays, and the film has been directed by a little-known but experienced Swedish director, Daniel Espinosa. Vera Farmiga, Brendan Gleeson, Sam Shepard, Robert Patrick and Liam Cunningham also star.
