Sam Worthington returns as Perseus in this sequel to Clash of the Titans. Set a decade after the Kraken defeat, it sees Perseus giving up his quiet new life as a fisherman when Hades and Ares make a deal with Kronos to capture Perseus’s father, Zeus (Neeson). Heading into the underworld to rescue him, Perseus must overthrow the Titans and save humankind in the process. New talents on board include Edgar Ramirez (Carlos the Jackal) as Ares and Toby Kebbell as Poseidon’s son Argenor. Released worldwide this weekend, we’re happy to see UAE cinemas getting the film at the same time as the rest of the globe, but at the time of going to press we hadn’t been privy to a media preview.
