DIFF 2014 highlights for kids

Family red carpet movie premieres at the Dubai International Film Festival

The glamour and glitz of a film festival doesn’t have to be just for grown ups. This year DIFF is giving junior film fans a chance to enjoy the limelight at a red carpet gala event. Little ones can get dressed up with the parents, and take pictures on the red carpet.

Friday December 12, Paper Planes
An imaginative children’s film about a young Australian boy’s passion for flight and his challenge to compete in the World Paper Plane Championships in Japan. A light hearted film that adults will love too.
Red Carpet opens at 1pm, film starts at 2pm. Madinat Arena.

Saturday December 13, Santa Claus
Tapping into the festive feeling, Santa Claus by Alexandre Coffre is a modern fairytale. Six-year-old Antoine wishes for a sleigh ride through the sky with Santa Claus, so when the man himself lands on his balcony, Antoine is too gobsmacked to see the fake beard and realize that he is actually a burglar.
Red carpet opens 10am, film starts at 11am. Madinat Arena.

Entering couldn’t be easier…
