Above Eleven
This trendy bar sits on the rooftop at Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, a prime position for stunning views of Dubai Marina and Ain Dubai. The bar serves creative Peruvian drinks, which are sipped while taking in the vista and toe-tapping to beats from the DJ. Meanwhile the food menu is Nikkei-themed, so expect tartares, ceviche, bao, tiraditos, anticuchos, sushi, robatayaki and traditional Peruvian plates.

Al Safadi Restaurant
Fans of authentic cooking in a family-friendly setting will be more than satisfied with a meal down at Al Safadi. Signalling its intentions with rich Mediterranean hues, a relaxed ambience and, of course, those divine seaside views, its menu dives into the best that Lebanon has to offer with endless options of mezze, biriyani, grilled meats and shawarma, while early birds should take advantage of its tremendous breakfast. Served from 8am, fill up on grilled halloumi, eggs with cheese, zaatar manakish and so much more.

Asia Asia Palm Jumeirah
Located at Andaz The Palm, Asia Asia Palm Jumeirah has taken over the space once occupied by Hanami. Spread over 10,000 square feet, the venue features a large terrace with views of Atlantis The Royal and Burj Al Arab.
The brand’s fourth outpost in the UAE serves up its famed Asian food and lively atmosphere. The space incorporates pops of fuschia, and gold and features velvety textures. You’ll also find live cooking stations, an open kitchen and fun bar areas. The usual menu has been taken up a notch and features tasty pan-Asian dishes that we know and love.

Attiko
Time Out Dubai’s Best Rooftop Bar 2023, Attiko is an on-trend spot to head for drinks and bar bites. With views out to sea and across to Palm Jumeirah, Ain Dubai and beyond, cool beats, live entertainment and premium sips, it’s a brilliant place to take visitors to. Plus, it serves up some of the best bar food in Dubai – think delicious Asian bites including sushi, gyoza and more to enjoy while taking in the views.

Barfly by Buddha-Bar
A chic rooftop bar born from the same family as Buddha Bar, Siddharta Lounge and Karma Kafe, it will come as no surprise that Barfly by Buddha-Bar serves up some seriously good bar food. Presenting a menu of inventive Asian fusion dishes among interiors of rich jewel-hues that bring the decadence of the Far East to life, enjoy these divine dishes out on the terrace, which makes for the perfect spot for drinks and a little grazing. Definitely one to add to your Palm Jumeirah restaurant bucket list.

Bushman’s
This Australian steakhouse found at Anantara Dubai The Palm has long been a popular spot for a decent dinner out for carnivores. It’s one of the best restaurants in Dubai for steak and there are plenty of cuts to dig into, especially if you’re into Australian beef and lamb. If you’re after something a little off the beaten track it’s also a top shout as it’s one of the few places in Dubai that you’ll find josper-grilled kangaroo.

Chez Wam
Found at the new chic dining destination that is the St. Regis Gardens, Chez Wam is a collaboration between the team behind La Cantine du Faubourg and chef Hadrien Villedieu. The menu is a mix of French-Mediterranean and beyond, with foie gras bao, burrata, wagyu beef tartare, roasted sea bass and robata lamb ribs. There’s also a cool vibe, live DJ and creative mixed drinks, making this a well-rounded dinner out.

Cinque
Whether you come for a quick plate of pappardelle or are in it for the long run with fresh seafood, grills and all, expect a good time at Cinque. It sits within Dubai’s most prolific party hotel, after all. Loud and proud yet with excellent food to boot, the menu comes courtesy of award-winning executive chef Mauro di Leo, who also whips up seasonal specials throughout the year. Dine indoors or al fresco on the pretty terrace, but don’t leave without a tasty tipple at the bar to end the night.

CouCou Dubai
The only way is up as you arrive at The Palm Tower for a meal at CouCou. Quite literally – this wow-worthy new hotspot is perched 52 stories high on the top floor of the building, where you’ll also find The View at The Palm. Boasting 360-degree panoramic views of the Dubai skyline, this bar, shisha lounge and rooftop restaurant serves up a crowd-pleasing array of Mediterranean dishes including a humongous burrata, flaky grilled seabass and pasta from Tuscany with truffle cream sauce. It’s time to get those fancy pants on.

Dinner by Heston Blumenthal
One of the most famous chefs in the world, Heston Blumenthal, opened a restaurant in the eye-popping Atlantis The Royal in 2023. And so far, it’s hit all the high notes. A stunning experience from start to finish, the service is impeccable, grape list wide ranging and dishes are creative and expertly prepared. You’ll have seen the Insta posts of the famed ‘meat fruit’ and if you’re a carnivore it’s well worth trying. As is everything else on the British menu, especially the steak and a dessert from circa 1810. Quirky, fun and elegant at the same time, this is one for a special occasion that will be truly memorable. Officially the best European restaurant in Dubai.

En Fuego
This fiery restaurant at Atlantis The Palm is a place for party people – it’s fun, it’s lively and there are plenty of events and ways to get a deal. From ladies’ nights to brunches – it picked up Time Out Dubai’s Best Party Brunch 2023 – this Mexican spot lays on loads of entertainment too, from fire dancers to singers and more. A menu of tasty Mexican favourites include guacamole, enchiladas, tacos and fajitas, keeping everyone happy. For a fun-loving, lively night out, En Fuego is a top shout.

La Mar by Gastón Acurio
A Peruvian restaurant from an acclaimed chef, this cool spot made a name for itself in Miami before opening in the famed Dubai hotel Atlantis The Royal. With a zingy, fresh menu and casual-cool interiors, featuring an open kitchen, it attracts a mixed crowd looking for tasty Peruvian dishes. Don’t miss the clasico ceviche, which looks and tastes fantastic, while the tiradito chucuito with fresh scallop pips is a must-try.

estiatorio Milos Dubai
Standing proud at Atlantis The Royal, this Greek restaurant has one of the most spectacular settings in Dubai, sitting right in front of the region’s first fire and water fountain, Skyblaze. The terrace is the prime place to sit here, overlooking the show, while inside there’s a fish market-style counter and an open kitchen. Coming from a celebrity chef you can expect quality ingredients, but at a higher price point, making this one for special occasions. Make sure to pick from the seafood counter and have your catch prepared how you like it, while there are Grecian-inspired mixed drinks and bottles of grape, too.

Hakkasan
This globally famed name is renowned for its high-end Chinese food. Here in Dubai, Hakkasan is found at Atlantis The Palm and has a cool setup with moody lighting and classy interiors. Dive into a selection of premium dim sum – all in different colours and shapes and stuffed with everything from veg to lobster or wagyu beef. Stir-fries are also worth trying, especially the black pepper rib-eye. The vibe is elegant and it’s a well-known spot for a fancy Chinese meal.

Ibn AlBahr
A seaside restaurant run by Lebanese fishermen, you know you’re onto a good one when dining at Ibn AlBahr. A very popular place, come day or night, you’ll find families and friends tucking into authentic Lebanese sharing plates on the terrace or down on the sand at Club Vista Mare on the Palm. The setting is delightful – overlooking the Arabian Gulf – and the vibe is chilled. Food is top-notch too, dig into a range of mezze from hummus and vine leaves to calamari and beyond, while there’s a fish market-style set-up offering up the fresh catch for mains. Ibn AlBahr is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Dubai and consistently impresses.

Jaleo Dubai by José Andrés
This cool Spanish restaurant at Atlantis The Royal is the first in the region for well-known Spanish chef José Andrés. The menu stars traditional tapas and paella, with several recipes coming from Andrés’ mother, meaning you’re in for authentic eats. With a large outdoor terrace and several show kitchens inside, there’s plenty to keep an eye on here. Meaning ‘lively’ in Spanish, the restaurant picks up the later it gets, with diners digging into croquettes, tomato bread, olives, Russian salad, patatas bravas and more – followed by a steaming pan of paella and a slice of Basque cheesecake. If you like Spanish food, make a beeline for this one.

Jones the Grocer The Palm
The seaside branch of this popular Australian café chain is a huge hit with families, especially come the weekend. Perched on the shore at trendy Palm West Beach, Jones is nestled among the beach clubs and it’s a prime spot for families who are looking for a quick, casual lunch rather than a day sunbathing.
It’s pet-friendly too so the whole gang can come along and it’s especially busy at breakfast time. Top plates include pancakes, full English breakfasts and more, while there are pizzas, salads and grills come lunch and dinner. Plus, it’s licensed for sunset sips.

Kyma Beach
Found at the trendy Palm West Beach, boasting views across the ocean as well as the beach club’s private pool, the setting at Kyma is seriously cool. Whether you’re here for a day at the pool and fancy something light, or dining at the restaurant, there’s plenty to enjoy including dips, grills, pastas and salads, all loaded with Grecian flavours and served with flair. Translating as ‘wave’, you’ll certainly get all the holidays feels at Kyma.

Limonata
An excellent newcomer to the best family restaurants in the Dubai scene, Limonata can be found at the end of Club Vista Mare and is a cute spot for a day out on the sand with the family. With bright yellow and white striped sunloungers, including mini ones for the little ones, a petite kids’ play area and plenty of beaches to run around on, it’s our top choice for a relaxed meal.
Expect classic Italian dishes – pizza, pasta, calzone, salad etc – as well as gelato and traditional desserts so order a bunch of dishes and share.
There are also kids’ activities and a live singer at the weekends and it’s full of happy families getting stuck into homely dishes on a sunny day out.

Ling Ling
Perched on the 23rd floor of the iconic Atlantis The Royal on Palm Jumeirah, Ling Ling took home the Best Late-Night Dinner award at the Time Out Dubai Nightlife Awards 2023 thanks to its cooler-than-cool vibe, stunning set-up and delicious Asian plates. One of the best Asian restaurants in Dubai, Ling Ling is the younger, livelier sister of the world-famous Hakkasan restaurant and it’s a restaurant-bar-club all rolled into one. On the menu is everything from prawn satay to kung pao chicken and Szechuan dumplings, which can be enjoyed alongside superb views.

Maiden Shanghai
One of the liveliest Chinese restaurants in Dubai, Maiden Shanghai is probably best known for its high-energy Naughty Noodles party brunch. However, that’s not to say its Chinese food isn’t top-notch too. Priding itself on being MSG-free, Maiden Shanghai serves up a range of delicious, and familiar, dishes from dim sum to char sui beef, sweet and sour prawns to sizzling lamb, kung pao chicken and egg-fried rice. The interiors are cool and the views from the terrace are fantastic too, making this a top all-round location.

Malibu 90265
Named after the zipcode of this exclusive area in California, Malibu 90265 is one of the more casual dining options at Atlantis The Royal. The hotel itself is worth having a peek inside – the architecture and interiors are dazzling – and you need a reservation to do so, so Malibu 90265 could be just the ticket for fans of all-American fare. A little taste of the US here in Dubai, this place has 1950s diner vibes, with a retro jukebox, dining booths modelled on vintage cars and a soundtrack of classics from Elvis Presley and beyond. Fill up on burgers, sandwiches, lobster rolls, tacos and more for a retro-classic US of A experience.

Nobu
One of Dubai’s best Japanese restaurants that needs no introduction, Nobu is the A-listers’ hangout of choice. Having recently reopened in a stunning new rooftop location on the 22nd floor of Atlantis The Palm, the newly-refurbished restaurant comes complete with an updated menu, a Nobu Dubai lounge and bar, and an expansive terrace offering incredible views over the Palm Island and Arabian Gulf. As to be expected, the sushi is up there with the best you’ll find in Dubai, but it doesn’t come cheap.

OKKU
A well-known name but a relatively new opening, OKKU has made a comeback and can now be found at Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah Dubai. Previously found at The H Dubai, OKKU has a loyal following of fans that are delighted to see its return five years later (including that of the jellyfish, albeit in a digital format this time around). When it comes to dishes, Japanese favourites are served with flair, particularly the sashimi, plus don’t miss the stir-fried wild mushrooms in ponzu butter.

Ossiano
One of the most impressive restaurants in town – and one the best degustation menus in Dubai – Ossiano is a special occasion dining experience that has to be tried at least once. With a super menu from lauded chef Grégoire Berger using the finest ingredients from around the world, be prepared to be wowed. The setting itself is incredible – with floor-to-ceiling windows revealing Atlantis The Palm’s famed aquarium, so you’ll be able to see fish, sharks, stingrays and other fascinating sea creatures glide past as you enjoy your tasting menu. The dinner comes in 11 courses, or waves, and we’re currently in the third iteration of the menu, with dishes inspired by Berger’s global travels.

Peaches & Cream
One of several family-friendly beach clubs along the Shoreline on Palm Jumeirah, Peaches & Cream caters to families very well. There’s a swimming pool and beach area, which are accessible with a minimum spend on food and drink, making it one of the best family restaurants in Dubai.
It’s casual and relaxed, so you won’t feel uncomfortable if your offspring isn’t showing their best side, although they’ll soon be distracted by splashing around and digging into burgers, chips, pizza et al.

Ristorante Loren
A stylish spot perched above the beach clubs at The Club at Palm West Beach, Ristorante Loren has been a popular location since opening in 2022. There’s a seafood-style market setup if you’re in the mood for fish – pick your catch and choose your cooking style, while you can’t go wrong with the pillowy pizzas. The spaghetti vongole and tortelli Loren are top picks from the pastas too. The views are undeniably a draw, with the restaurant boasting all the holiday feels.

Rüya Dubai
This Turkish spot was formerly at Grosvenor House Dubai but has since reopened at The St. Regis Dubai The Palm. The spacious, grand restaurant has high ceilings and luxurious furnishings, plus a DJ booth to keep things modern. It overlooks the pool and in cooler weather there’s a terrace. From the famed cheese and egg pide to kebabs, mezze and more, all your favourites are on the menu here, in a high-end setting. The bar is worth visiting too, thanks to the creative mixology.

Seafire Steakhouse & Bar
This massive steakhouse at Dubai’s Atlantis The Palm is popular spot with families staying in the hotel, as well as couples looking for a carnivorous date night. It’s a proper old-school US-style steakhouse, with banquettes, classic sides and starters plus, of course, excellent cuts of meat. The mac and cheese is a top shout to pair with your butter-soft tenderloin, plus you’ll enjoy getting to choose which knife you’ll slice through your steak with.

Signor Sassi
A much-anticipated London import, Signor Sassi opened at the culinary hotspot that is the St. Regis Gardens in 2023. With a cool setup and a buzzing vibe, this restaurant attracts a smart, lively crowd. Prices are on the higher end of the scale and dishes range from pastas and pizza to grills. The signature mushroom risotto is a decent shout, and you should definitely make time for a drink at the bar, too. Popular with groups and couples, Signor Sassi is an on-trend spot for a celebration.

Smoki Moto
If you’ve got a Korean barbecue craving, you’ll want to try this Palm Jumeirah spot. Dubai’s first fully licensed Korean steakhouse offers up cool views, Seoul-inspired interior design and a selection of high-end steaks. And the coolest bit is, you can grill these yourself right at the table with built-in charcoal grills.
But what makes this different from the traditional Korean barbecue experience is that Smoki Moto properly defines itself as a steakhouse. The team is made up of eight Korean chefs who’ve created a menu that spotlights various cuts of steak, predominantly beef. The concept encourages a sharing style experience, reminiscent of an Asian family dining.

Social
Having recently undergone a revamp to its menu, Social is less formal than it used to be, but still plates up high-quality food. Serving modern takes on classics (think a deconstructed aubergine parmigiana adapted from the chef’s grandmother’s recipe), there’s lots to like about the youthful twist on authentic dishes.
The terrace boasts views out to sea from its vantage point on the Palm and service is friendly. Every dish hits the mark and is beautifully presented. Don’t miss the tiramisu for dessert – it’s a showstopper but we won’t spoil the surprise.

SUSHISAMBA
The queues for the lift at this sky-high restaurant on the Palm at all hours of the day and night are a testament to its popularity. The main draw is the view – you’ll get a 360-degree vista to spot all the major landmarks, while inside there’s a cool vibe with plenty of plants and a live DJ. A Peruvian-Japanese combination of plates, the Chilean sea bass anticucho is a must-order, while the signature Dubai Samba roll is a suitably indulgent piece of sushi, with lobster, mango and truffle.

For premium French fine dining, and a spectacular tasting menu, STAY by acclaimed chef Yannick Alléno is the one for a special occasion meal. Head here in winter to sit out on the terrace for the best experience and enjoy the chic vibe of the exclusive One&Only The Palm. Service is spot-on and the dishes are gloriously well put together, using delicious ingredients and carefully crafted ideas. SUSHISAMBA
Japan, Peru and Brazil join forces in this expensive New York import in The Palm Tower that more than deserves its rave reviews. Think great views, fantastic décor and brilliant food, take the elevator direct to the 51st floor and you’re met by a dark and sultry cavern, a funky samba beat, the smoky smell of the robata and the chatter of more-than-satisfied diners. Be sure to take your friends along to this one as you’ll want to sample everything on the menu.

Tagomago
From the team behind La Cantine du Faubourg – as well as Twiggy and Ninive on this al fresco dining list – Tagomago opened in 2023 and quickly established itself as one of the best outdoor restaurants in Dubai. Set out to sea in a lighthouse-shaped building on the Palm – a spot that previously held pizzeria Il Faro – you can look forward to a tasty menu of Spanish treats, from tapas to paella and grills. There’s a selection of grape and mixed drinks to sip while you gaze out to sea and enjoy views of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, too.

The Byron Bathers Club
Coming from the team behind Common Grounds and Tom & Serg, this place knows how to cater to families. With a swimming pool to dip into (with a minimum spend you can get a lounger and pool access) as well as the beach to play on and a beach playground area with swings and a climbing frame, the kids will be occupied for hours.
Food ranges from grills and seafood selections to pizzas, burgers and fish and chips so all bases are covered there. It’s chic too – all blues, whites and neutral tones – as well as being licensed, so parents will be as happy as the kids.

Trèsind Studio
This acclaimed Indian restaurant is helmed by chef Himanshu Saini and it has been consistently excellent since opening in 2018. It moved to St. Regis Gardens on the Palm in 2022 and has a dining area that seats just 20 diners. The studio-style space is set up so all tables face the kitchen, like a stage – meaning all eyes are on the talented chefs at work, carefully tweezing edible flowers and painting swirls of sauces on to plates to enhance the already exquisite creations they’ve whipped up. One of the best tasting menus in Dubai, Trèsind Studio is somewhere that needs to be tried at least once, especially if you love avant garde Indian cuisine.

Ugly Burger
Having previously been a resident of Dar Wasl Mall, Ugly Burger is now providing burger-hungry Palm residents with the goods, thanks to a move to Nakheel Mall in 2023. Gloriously messy burgers are packed full of flavour, whether you’re after beef, chicken, shrimp or vegan versions, all smothered in sauce and nestled into a soft bun. Feeling indulgent? Make a beeline for the double truffle burger – which is as rich, earthy and meaty as it sounds – or keep it simple with a classic cheeseburger. Order some loaded fries and you’re all set for one of the best burgers in Dubai.

Wavehouse
If you’re dining with a child who likes to test their lung capacity when you’re three bites into your onion rings then you’ll fit right in at Wavehouse, the Palm Jumeirah’s rowdy entertainment hub that always promises one heck of a good time. You don’t even need a teenager in tow to enjoy its colour four-lane bowling alley, arcade, soft play area and wave rider machine – this is a venue that was designed with big kids in mind.
