An oldie but still a very goodie – Prime68 is a stalwart on the Dubai dining scene with valid reason. Officially the best steakhouse in Dubai – again – Prime68 not only serves delicious, expertly cooked meat, it also offers some of the best views around. As you’d expect from the name, you’ll find this steakhouse on the 68th floor of the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai with stunning skyline views.
Inside it’s a pretty classic setup in terms of steakhouses, but lifted with modern touches. When it comes to meat, enjoy cuts from all over the world, including a tomahawk if you’re in the mood to share. Expertly cooked and full of flavour, meat-eaters will love Prime68. These guys are steak specialists – they know what they’re doing and they do it well every time while keeping the prices in the mid-range, and for that, we applaud them.

LEÑA Dubai
This cool new restaurant opened at the end of 2023 at the growing foodie hub that is The St. Regis Gardens on Palm Jumeirah. From acclaimed Spanish chef Dani García – who has renowned restaurants across Spain including in his hometown of Marbella – Leña is a brilliant place for a date night, with moody lighting, slick interiors and a huge open kitchen nestled behind glass for a view of the chefs.
All dishes are based around smoke, with grilling front-and-centre here. From steaks to veggies, fish, seafood, chicken and more – the wood-fired plates are creative and expertly cooked.

Seafire Steakhouse & Bar
This massive steakhouse at Dubai’s Atlantis The Palm is a popular spot with families staying in the hotel, as well as couples looking for a carnivorous date night. It’s a proper old-school US-style steakhouse, with banquettes, classic sides and starters plus, of course, excellent cuts of meat. The mac and cheese is a top shout to pair with your butter-soft tenderloin, plus you’ll enjoy getting to choose which knife you’ll slice through your steak with.

11 Woodfire
This unlicensed steakhouse and grill can be found in a beautiful yet unassuming villa in Jumeirah. The interiors are delightful and what’s on the plate is just as creative. Coming from acclaimed chef Akmal Anuar – the man behind 3 Fils and Goldfish Sushi & Yakatori – plates are innovative, modern and have plenty of flair.
The wood-fired grill is the focus here, with smoky flavours starring in the delicious cuts of meat and fish. For a high-end meal in a non-hotel setting, this is one of the best steakhouses and grills in Dubai.

Bull & Bear
This cool restaurant hails from New York, where the original was found in the famous former Waldorf Astoria hotel. The slick, city-style interiors make it cool enough for a date night but still popular for a business meeting, while the US-style dishes will impress everyone.
Steaks are a hit here, with the Meat Room section of the menu filled with cuts from America, Australia, Japan and New Zealand, while the prawn cocktail – starring smoky prawns a la plancha – is a winning way to start.

Bushman’s
This Australian steakhouse found at Anantara Dubai The Palm has long been a popular spot for a decent dinner out for carnivores. It’s one of the best restaurants in Dubai for steak and there are plenty of cuts to dig into, especially if you’re into Australian beef and lamb.
If you’re after something a little off the beaten track it’s also a top shout as it’s one of the few places in Dubai where you’ll find josper-grilled kangaroo.

Carna
This modern steakhouse sits on the 74th floor of the SLS Dubai, meaning the views from the dining room are eye-popping. Not only that, the steaks are excellent too. The brainchild of famed Italian butcher Dario Cecchini, there’s a meaty nose-to-tail menu that will appeal to carnivores.
Cuts include picanha, tenderloin, striploin, rib-eye and tomahawk. Interiors are plush, views are wow-worthy and the dishes shine, making this one of the best steakhouses in Dubai.

Hunter & Barrel
A former winner of Time Out Dubai’s Best Steakhouse – Hunter & Barrel is a more laid-back steakhouse. A cool spot for a date night in Emirates Hills, the Australian steakhouse prides itself on its fire-grilled steaks as well as chargrilled lamb and chicken, while you can get a range of burgers, skewers and more too, so whether you’re after beef, chicken, lamb or fish all bases are covered here.

Rhodes Twenty10
Coming from the late, great Gary Rhodes, Rhodes Twenty10 is one of the best steakhouses in Dubai and a top place for carnivores looking for a relaxed dinner with friends and family.
You’ll find a mix of hotel guests and visitors to this restaurant and the menu stars favourites from Rhodes’ menus over the years. Tuck into juicy burgers, prime USDA steaks and steak pie. And if you’re on a date you can never go wrong with a tender chateaubriand.

The Meat Co.
This classic steakhouse in Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah is popular with residents and tourists alike. With a terrace perched along the banks of the Madinat’s sparkling waterways and a buzz from the many restaurants around, there’s always a lively, warm atmosphere here and it’s a cute spot for a night out.
With a steak menu starring all the cuts you’d hope for, and some delicious home-baked bread to tear into while you peruse the menu, it’s a top spot for meat-lovers in the city.
