Boardwalk review

Time Out Dubai’s Best Outdoor Restaurant 2018

Boardwalk review

If you’re in Old Dubai, don’t even think about not visiting Boardwalk. It occupies one of the most idyllic spots in this part of town, on a platform jutting out into the Creek with views beyond.

It feels a world away from the bustle of the city.

Kick back and take stock over some delicious Mediterranean fare. From freshly baked pizzas and calzone to an extensive fresh fish and seafood selection set out to reflect markets of the Med, which you can pick and have made to your preference, there’s something to suit all of the family.

Parents, we defy you not to go for the fresh fish in the seafood market. It’s priced per portion or per 100g, with options including red snapper, sea bass, clams, prawns, scallops, mussels and so more to choose from. There are plenty of light bites and antipasti to share, too. You’ll really feel like you’re whiling away a few hours in the Mediterranean here.

There are steaks, seafood skewers and a fabulous fish and chips, as well. Spend a lazy weekend here and enjoy every bite to eat.

Boardwalk is perfect if all you want after a hard week is to soak up some laid-back holiday vibes and let your mind drift away.
Open Sun-Thu noon-midnight, Fri-Sat 8am-midnight. Licensed. Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, Deira (04 295 6000).
