South African restaurant to celebrate Mother’s Day

Free coffee and cake for mums at Walnut Grove

Coffee or cake? You don’t have to choose as Walnut Grove is giving mums a cuppa and a slice of sweet goodness this Mother’s Day.

You can get the complimentary treats from Thursday March 21 until Sunday March 31, for both UAE and UK Mother’s Days, respectively.

Walnut Grove also serves up a kids’ menu with free babychinos and veggie sticks. Plus, there are different activities for little ones throughout the week including playing with very colourful rainbow cakes.

The South African restaurant is now open at The Dubai Mall, meaning that if you’re looking to rest your weary feet post shopping-spree, you’re in luck.

Walnut Grove already has one branch in City Walk, and its new home in The Dubai Mall has cracking views of Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Fountain.

There’s also heaps of exciting dishes on the new menu – for all three meals of the day.

Breakfasts include avo three ways, burrata omelette, za’atar croissants and Nutella French Toast (we didn't say it was calorie-free, mind).

Meanwhile, dinner and lunch options include Philly cheese steak sandwich, Casablanca salad Walnut truffle carbonara past, pistachio falafel burger, chicken Caesar wraps, pizzas and more.

And if you’ve visited the City Walk branch, you’ll be expecting some monster-sized cakes. And you won’t be disappointed. Options include Nutella doughnuts, rocky road brownies, macarons, cupcakes and scones.

Sounds like the perfect Mother’s Day for some mum and kiddie time.
Free. Mar 21-31, 10am-2pm. Various locations across Dubai, including The Dubai Mall, walnutgrove.ae
