Top three free Mother’s Day treats

Bombay Bungalow
Mums get a complimentary dessert at this Indian restaurant on both UAE and UK Mother’s Days, which will fall on Thursday March 21 and Sunday March 31, respectively.

She can choose from coconut rasmalai with salted caramel, a fruity pistachio-crunch alphonso mango kulfi, kapi-chocolate milk cake infused with passion fruit, chocolate and saffron labneh, or gulab jamun carpaccio brûlée for a tangy green apple twist.
Open daily noon-midnight. The Beach, JBR (800 692 8779).

Clinton St. Baking Company

For UAE Mother’s Day, Clinton St. will be putting together a bakery box for mums that’s totally worthy of a good cheat day (and what a better day than this).

The goodie-filled package includes an assortment of favourites such as lemon sunshine muffins, chocolate brownies, butterscotch blondies, mixed berry scones, chocolate chip muffins, salted caramel biscuits and more.
Open daily 8am-midnight. City Walk, Al Safa (04 344 0705).

The Canadian all-day dining restaurant will be treating all the super mamas out there to a plate of crispy chocolate crêpes stacked with banana, strawberry and creme Anglaise on the house on UAE Mother’s Day.

Best of all, it’s available at both of the family-friendly restaurant’s branches at City Walk and The Beach, JBR.
Open daily 7am-midnight. Various locations including The Beach, JBR (04 430 7252).

From sweet boxes and mango kulfi, to pancakes pile-ups, we’re wishing mums loads of love – and yum desserts – on their day.
