Crowne Plaza extends Picnic Pantry brunch

The outdoor, park-setting weekend feast includes pool access

Crowne Plaza extends Picnic Pantry brunch

If you're looking to take the kids out at the weekend, the Crowne Plaza, Dubai Festival City, Picnic Pantry brunch has long been a favourite. However, if you have plans on a Friday you can now head to the hotel on a Saturday too, where the Skyline Terrace will be transformed into a park setting for the occasion.

Benches, umbrellas, picnic mats and cushions set up across the restaurant will create the perfect outdoor vibes for Mums, Dads and kiddies to enjoy the summer. Taking place every Friday and Saturday from noon to 3.30pm, the brunch will be taking over the terrace, which boasts views of the Dubai skyline and Creek.

The picnic brunch with a twist comprises a walk-in pantry with snacks, salads, appetisers and desserts (yum), and barbecue stations filled with all sorts of meats including beef ribs, burgers and seafood cooked in Dubai’s largest smoker. It's time for a barbecue bonanza.

Picnic Pantry also includes a separate kids’ buffet, where they can munch on favourites while taking part in all sorts of activities including face painting, a bouncy castle and games, and interact with entertainers who are there to make sure they’re having a good time.

Plus, families get free pool access to cool off after all the picnic action. We’re ready to fill up those baskets with all sorts of hearty goodies from the pantry – there’s nothing like a good picnic, we tell you.
Dhs245 (soft drinks), Dhs345 (house beverages). Fri and Sat 12.30pm-4pm. Free (kids under 12). Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dubai Festival City, (04 701 1127).
