Choix Patisserie launches baby shower afternoon tea

Celebrating your bundle of joy’s arrival in style just got a whole lot easier with the launch of Choix Patisserie and Restaurant by Pierre Gagnaire’s baby shower afternoon tea.

Mums-to-be can indulge to the maximum at Choix. Located at the InterContinental, Dubai Festival City, the restaurant offers a Parisian experience in celebration of new babies, including a themed party, complete with a pink or blue layered cake.

The baby shower afternoon tea will also be filled with cute decorations, including flowers and balloons, with packages available for a buffet or table set-ups.

The restaurant accepts bookings for a minimum of eight people for three hours so – if you’re expecting – you'd better get started on those invites.

Aside from the big cake, finger sandwiches, eclairs, sultana scones and even camel milk entremets will be served. Plus, a selection of coffees (perfect to help mum and her friends stay awake after all of that planning). Sounds like our sweet tooth would be very happy…

For those Mums and Dads who already have kids, Crowne Plaza at Dubai Festival City has extended its Picnic Pantry brunch. You can now head to the hotel on a Saturday too, where the Skyline Terrace will be transformed into a park setting for the occasion.

Whether it’s a party for new babies, or the ones who are already here, we love a good excuse to have cake.
