An estimated 600 people turned out for No. 1 Fridays’ latest garage night. Local DJ Shero warmed things up and the floor was flooded by the time Pied Piper took the decks for an old-school garage set. Chatting to the crowd between tracks, MC DT secured his popularity with punters, while Pied Piper earned serious kudos when he unexpectedly dropped a series of jungle tracks towards the end of the set. The pair aren’t likely to be back for at least six months, although organisers will be bringing out DJ EZ, Heartless Crew, MC Creed, Artful Dodger and yet-to-be-named female artists for a massive night on November 24. Keep your eyes on Time Out for details.
