Fancy trying something a bit different this weekend? How about lazing around a 100m infinity pool? Well now you can.

Park Hyatt Dubai has undergone a revamp – and it comes with a massive infinity lagoon.

The lagoon opened yesterday (Sunday January 6) and has uninterrupted views of the Dubai Creek and skyline, including the Burj Khalifa. There’s also 2,000 sq m of beach to chill out on. As with the whole resort, there’s plenty of lush greenery to help you escape the concrete of the city.

Day passes start at Dhs360 (which is admittedly on the pricey side) and there are a range of options including sun loungers, gazebos and private cabanas. Peckish? There’s a Mediterranean menu to help with that.

“We are excited to announce the property's newest addition, the Lagoon,” said Federico Mantaoni, General Manager at Park Hyatt Dubai. “The extension to the array of leisure amenities is set to amplify the luxury experience for both guests and residents, as is synonymous with the Park
Hyatt brand. The opening of the Lagoon follows the complete renovation of the property's F&B offerings, which saw the introduction of The Promenade to Dubai's dining scene.”

Last year the hotel’s dining scene was refreshed – with the arrivals of Brasserie du Park and seafood spot NOEPÉ, as well as the reinstatement of the Time Out Dubai Award-winning Traiteur brunch. They joined the hotel’s popular restaurant Thai Kitchen.

Slap on that suncream, it's time to wallow in the water.
From Dhs360. Open daily 9am-7pm. Park Hyatt Dubai, Deira (04 602 1660).
