Nothing quite says 'romantic' like a private dinner in the desert under a starry night sky, and Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa is offering just that.
For Valentine’s Day, the desert resort is giving guests an exclusive four-course dinner at its Sunset Point, and it's pulling out all the stops to make the evening as romantic as possible.
Kicking off at 7pm, couples will get their own private decorated tent to dine in, with a set menu prepared by the resort’s professional culinary team headed by executive chef Clive Micallef.
Couples will also be treated to a bottle of sparkling grape, presented by a dedicated butler, while a violinist will play charming tunes throughout the meal to set the mood.
Private tents at the resort’s Sunset Point are surrounded by a bonfire and a relaxation majlis, so guests have a place to chill out after getting their fill.
To top it all off, couples will also receive a bouquet of flowers, because it just wouldn’t be a Valentine’s Day celebration without them.
The Valentine’s Day offer costs Dhs950 per couple, and you can reserve a spot by calling 04 809 6100 or emailing email@example.com.
Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa is also the home to one of Dubai’s best swim-up bars, offering stunning panoramic desert views. If you fancy a dip before the romantic night out begins, a day pass will set you back Dhs400, but it also includes lunch.
If you happen to have Dhs59,000 lying around and want to treat your other half to an exclusive helicopter trip, this Fairmont staycation package could be for you.
For something slightly cheaper, DRIFT Beach Dubai is offering a Dhs20,000 all-day experience, with massages and a romantic candle-lit dinner included.
