Since the long Eid al-Fitr weekend is just around the corner (and a speculated four-day holiday for both public and private sector workers), thoughts turn to how to spend an extra-special time of the year.

While there are plenty of great offers knocking about town right now – like this Dhs300 staycation with Dhs600 in food and beverage credit coming back at you – there are perhaps none around town quite as expensive and luxurious as this.

Over at W Dubai – The Palm, which opened earlier this year, you can book in for a night in one of the city’s most premium suites.

For just Dhs40,000 per night (just…), you can hang out in a huge suite that comes equipped with everything you need to host the most mega of evenings between you and your mates.

So where do you begin? Perhaps start your stay off on your very own private terrace (and it’s huge), complete with your personal Jacuzzi. There are views out of the Arabian Gulf, of the Dubai Marina skyline and of the hotel’s Wet Deck pool club to enjoy, and a stunning view for sunset.

Inside, and you’ll be able to recline in not one, but two of your very own lounges, one slightly more intimate and cosy than the other, and with its own 55” 4K TV. Then there’s the dining table for ten people, which if you’re more of a showman than a diner, can be used as a catwalk-slash-dancefloor given it has its very own staircase.

In the bathroom you’ll find a free-standing bath (with its own neighbouring couch), two rain rooms, a huge master bed and views out over the Arabian Gulf.

It’s not just for a private stay, though, since the whole space can be hired out for private parties and events, too. The most exciting part? The hotel is working on an even more expensive suite at the moment, which will be made available for bookings soon.

So, what are your plans for your next staycation?
