Proud owner of the largest stained-glass window in the Middle East, the four star Ramada is just outside the more hectic heartland of the Golden Sands area. This and the hotel’s shoreless location mean that most of its clients tend to be business folk.
Rooms are spacious, although most overlook air conditioning units, building sites or the busy streets below. There’s a small pool, which only gets the morning sun. Good service, competitive corporate rates and decent sized rooms make this a sound choice for business guests, and in terms of class and value for money, it’s streets ahead of its shabby sister hotel in Deira.
