Introducing Oberoi Al Zorah

Time Out visited Arabian Travel Market to discover some of the new hotels in Dubai and the UAE. Here we are introducing Oberoi Al Zorah, opening Dec 2016

Time Out Dubai has the first look at what could soon become the UAE's new favourite staycation destination, a world away but only 30-minutes from Dubai International Airport.

You better believe it, because The Oberoi Al Zorah is due to open in the fourth quarter of 2016, becoming the second for the brand in the UAE. Unlike its sister property in Downtown Dubai, The Oberoi Al Zorah will boast more sophisticated architecture and contemporary-chic interiors.

The beachfront rooms and suites will be accompanied with more al fresco space, something that has been a massive limitation for city hotels, and be complemented with private sundecks and temperature-controlled private pools.

The elusive Presidential Suite will feature indoor and outdoor bathrooms, in addition to a fireplace, sundeck, and a private walkway to the beach.

This Al Zorah property will also play host to world-class spa facilities that will offer a more Ayurvedic and holistic approach to wellness, as well as two restaurants and a beach bar.

Located in the emirate of Ajman, Al Zorah is set to become one of the biggest eco destinations in the country, with highlights including green mangroves, 247 acres of protected forest and biodiverse species of animals and birds. The development is expected to add more hotels and luxury residences in the coming years, to join its Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course.

With the opening of this resort only months away, you may need to rethink that beach vacay in Ras Al Khaimah now…
