Valentine’s Day in Dubai for Dhs399,000 at Anantara The Palm

Time Out Dubai has details of a package deal being dubbed the most extravagant Valentine's Day in Dubai, offered by Anantara The Palm for Dhs399,000

For those of you who didn't completely empty the coffers this Christmas and as such suffered the wrath of an unimpressed loved one, help is at hand.

Sure, you could buy flowers or book a fancy restaurant. How about a spa treatment? Or maybe even a staycation. But if you really need to get back into the good books, how about splashing out an eye-watering Dhs399,000 on all that and more?

That's right, with Valentine's Day just a few weeks away, Anantara The Palm Dubai have launched their campaign for what they are calling 'the most enchanting experience' available anywhere in town.

So, for what amounts to five years worth of rent on a one-bed apartment in the Marina, what exactly is on offer?

Well, it's a strong start, with the happy couple being offered a private helicopter tour and chauffeur-driven route to the resort. That's followed by check-in to an exclusive beach villa with all the trimmings, plus a couple's Hammam at the hotel's spa. It's okm right? But Dhs399,000, we're not so sure.

Luckily, there's more, including a pre-ordered couture dress for her, bespoke suit for him, for dinner, while a team of professional make-up artists and hairstylists will get you ready for a five-star meal under the stars. The night is rounded off by a private cruise around the Palm.

Still not convinced? Well, the real value comes the day after, when guests will be whisked off the airport, flown business class to the Maldives and treated to two nights at Anantara Kihavah, with its underwater restaurant extravagent spa and private beaches. A personalised photobook is giben as a parting gift.

Over to you, gentlemen. Oh, and booking is needed three weeks in advance, so you have until January 17 to remortgage the house and move into a tent at Al Qudra Lakes.
