Dubai's St Regis hotel has made a statement or two since launching late last year on the banks of the Dubai Water Canal, but their latest is perhaps their most iconic yet.
Today, images and information about their custom-made Bentley Suite has been released. They are the first of their kind in the Middle East.
Located on the fourth floor of the Al Habtoor City property, the 2,098 square feet suite features a lavish marble bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the hotel gardens, all designed in collaboration with the luxury car brand.
Official information describes the style as 'a blend of cream and neutral tones, set against rich wood finishes, elegant marble floors and leather accents on handcrafted furnishings'. The silk carpet, porpoise sofa, stitched leather walls in the bedroom, and diamond detailing in the frame of the mirror, further heighten the refined tastes of the design team.
Car fanatics might well notice the LED chandelier's similarities to the Bentley Mulsanne, although the 12-seat dining table it hovers above is more mini-bus (fancy one at that) than car. There are also no TV screens in the back of the chairs.... that's hidden behind a slide-wall alongside five Breitling clocks.
So how much does all this cost? Well, prices start at Dhs25,000 per night, but you do get use of a Bentley Mulsanne courtesy car, chauffeured transfers, and full butler service. For more, visit stregis.com/dubai
And stay close to Time Out Dubai in the coming weeks when we expect to bring you more news about the rest of the Al Habtoor City development, which will soon be home to a W Hotel and Westin, as well as The Atrium, a live entertainment and dining venue.
