There is finally a destination to rest those theme park feet!

Dubai Parks and Resorts has been the hotspot all winter long with the official opening of Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Dubai and Riverland Dubai in December.

This leisure and entertainment destination is finally home to a new addition and it’s the city’s first theme park hotel.

Lapita Hotel Dubai has welcomed its first guests of the year into its Polynesian-themed resort at Dubai Parks and Resorts.

Located a stone’s throw away from the three theme parks, this family-friendly hotel offers 504 rooms and suites including three villas and three private bedrooms with their own lagoon-style swimming pools.

Part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection Hotels, all the rooms boast a vibrant tribal theme with views of the theme park, the lazy river or the Hawaiian-themed garden. The hotel’s name is inspired by the pre-historic Pacific Ocean people and their journey and settlement into the Islands, also known as the Lapita movement.

The design draws its inspiration from the exotic Polynesian tropical landscapes, featuring Polynesian flowers, lagoon-style pools, and themed activities.

Those craving an R&R can check into Ola Spa, a Polynesian sanctuary offering body and facial treatments for both men and women.
