Looking for a new staycation destination for 2017? One of Dubai’s newest hotel openings could be the perfect fit.
Set on the city’s Pearl Jumeira development, just off Jumeirah 1, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai opened its doors in December 2016, making it the hospitality chain’s fourth such property in the world, and first in the Middle East.
Featuring a 450-metre-long beach, 117 rooms, 15 suites and 63 private residences, the Resort’s arrival follows the launch of Nikki Beach Restaurant & Beach Club earlier in 2016. With stunning views of the sea and skyline, each room, suite and villa is kitted out with an entertainment system, mood-lighting, a personalised minibar and high-speed wi-fi (after all, if you don’t Instagram that chic beachfront pad, did you ever really stay in it?).
There are four pools throughout the property, private cabanas with plunge pools, a tennis court, state-of-the-art gym and the tranquil Nikki Spa. There are also five restaurants and lounges to sink your teeth into: Café Nikki, an all-day urban bistro; Soul Lounge, with creative nibbles and chilled-out tunes; Nikki Beach Dubai Restaurant & Beach Club, with its globe-trotting menu and beachside setting; exclusive lounge Nikki Privé; and fine dining spot Key West, due to open before the end of January, promising a fusion of Floridian, Caribbean and Latin cuisine.
