We love nothing more than having a neb around other people’s homes, and when they look like this no one can blame us for gawping.
These pictures show the interiors of Langham Place Residences Downtown Dubai, and we can definitely see ourselves sinking into this giant-tub after a long day in the office.
To give you an idea of what we’re dealing with, the original Langham Hotel in London was frequented by many of history’s most famous names, including Sir Winston Churchill, Charles de Gaulle, Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, Napoleon III, Princess Diana and Wallis Simpson.
All of the apartments in the new Dubai Langham will come fully-furnished and are awash with soft creams, browns and blues, with wood sprawling across floors, walls and doors.
Discreet ceiling spotlights work in unison with low-hanging feature lighting and in the master bedroom, an abstract work of art doubles as the lengthy headboard with modern bedside lamps hovering from the ceiling.
Blackout curtains and sheers are electronically operated from a wall switch and one side of the large walk-in wardrobe doubles as a make-up area, before leading into the splendid marble-walled ensuite bathroom. So not too shabby, then.
The Langham Downtown Dubai hotel and Langham Place Residences will be situated smack bang in the middle of the Marasi development on the banks of Dubai Canal, with top views of the new marina on one side and Burj Khalifa on the other.
It will be a 167-room hotel with 239 fully-serviced five-star residences, ranging from one, two and three bedroom suites to duplex penthouses. It is expected to finish late in the third quarter of 2020.
Buyers will have the option of taking a serviced unit that comes with 24 percent guaranteed return on investment, or a non-serviced unit that comes with a six-year payment plan.
Mark Phoenix, Managing Director at Omniyat, who are developing the property, said, “It’s been fantastic to work so closely with the Langham’s design team in perfecting the Langham Place Residences.
“These high-end homes will be completely unique in the region and offer buyers the chance to invest in a legendary brand, complete with the little touch points that make the narrative of The Langham so strong.
“In the UAE and also in GCC markets such as Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, The Langham brand is recognised for its history, prestige and quality, so it really means something special to people.”
Oh, how the other half live.
