Time Out Says

Getting in a quick staycay is always high on the priority list for Dubai residents, and there are many fantastic ways to enjoy the city. This hotel has 298 guest rooms, including 65 suites, so you’re sure to find something to suit, should you choose to stay here.

Situated in Business Bay, this hotel lies on the banks of the Dubai Water Canal and offers views out over the water on one side, and towards the iconic Burj Khalifa on the other.

The hotel itself offers a number of world-class eateries and bars, including Morimoto, the first Dubai branch of the internationally renowned Japanese restaurant. Set on the 23rd and 24th floor, the restaurant boasts four terraces as well as a teppanyaki table and sushi bar.

You could also check out one of three venues at the hotel from US Michelin-starred chef David Myers. Blue Blanc offers some refined southern France vibes and dishes, while BASTA! by David Myers, is an Italian restaurant fusing food from Rome, Florence and Naples. Both are incredibly stylish spots, so head along for some cracking grub and food. Finish your night off with a drink at speakeasy bar Poppy, which is so secretive you’ll have to ask for directions to find it.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing weekend or a lively, stylish city break, Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai, has a bit of everything to suit your needs.
