It’s a problem everyone faces – you want sushi but your buddy wants steak. Good news – BurJuman’s brand-new fusion restaurant will sort such squabbles in a jiffy.

The UAE’s very first outlet of Teriyaki Boy and Sizzlin’ Steak has now opened its doors, serving Japanese cuisine and juicy meat cuts.

Open daily from 10am until 10pm, the two venues are located under one roof in the BurJuman Centre.

Teriyaki Boy offers everything from Japanese gyoza, sushi, ramen and of course, Teriyaki Boy Chicken, which is one of the most popular menu items back in the restaurant’s home in the Philippines.

Other customer favourites include tuna teriyaki, made up of grilled tuna with teriyaki sauce, topped with onions and leeks or the beef strips teriyaki with toasted garlic and teriyaki.

Looking for a meatier dish? Sizzlin’ Steaks has got you covered, serving up different kinds of steak with unlimited plain rice for as little as Dhs19.

Some popular dishes since its opening back in 2007 have been the beef belly rice, rib-eye steaks, sirloin steaks, chicken steak rice and even a few cheesecakes.

The fusion outlet comes from Filipino company Max’s Group Incorporated and Kasamar Holdings UAE, which is also behind popular Filipino restaurant Max’s.

While you’re there, you may as well check out BurJuman’s lengthy list of other restaurants and shops, including Shakespeare & Co., GRK Fresh Greek much more.

This is an Eastern and Western fusion we can definitely get on board with.
Open daily 10am-10pm. BurJuman Centre, Mankhool, www.burjuman.com (04 268 2698).
