Have kids who are looking to keep cool and have fun while counting down to school? A Dubai beachfront destination may have just the solution.
Little guests between the ages of five and 15 can join an adventure at Laguna La Mer’s Water Gun Challenge.

Youngsters can prance around in the water play area and obstacle course while mum and dad take advantage of some shopping offers at the new hotspot.

Kids will be safe with protective gear including special helmets, suits and goggles provided before they start blasting.

Tickets can be purchased at the counter next to the activity set-up.

Families can then head to Laguna Waterpark, which features five main rides including the region’s first Manta family raft ride, and a splash zone for toddlers and younger kids.

The park also comprises AquaPlay, a structure that’s perfect for parents to join in on all the fun with waterslides and a giant “soaker” bucket.

There’s also the pool lounge, lazy river, yummy food kiosks and a merchandise store.

The Water Gun Challenge is part of Dubai Summer Surprises, the city-wide sales extravaganza, which ends on Saturday August 4.

La Mer is home to Hawa Hawa, an inflatable playground featuring two dune-shaped domes and seven peaks, and a host of family-friendly dining venues.
Dhs20 (20-minute session). Until Aug 4. Daily 6pm-11pm. Laguna, La Mer, Jumeriah 1, Dubai, (04 317 3999).
