Meet Santa on Secret Island at Bluewaters

Festive activities to include live performances and kids’ workshops

Meet Santa on Secret Island at Bluewaters

Santa is getting his very own secret island at the newly-opened Bluewaters, and the kids are going to love it.

The island destination’s retail district, The Wharf, will transform into a white winter wonderland from today (Thursday December 13) until Saturday January 5.

A majestic 12-metre Christmas tree will be waiting for visitors at the entrance of Santa's Secret Island, greeting them as they come in through the pedestrian bridge.

Kiddies will be showered with snow, probably one of the few chances they'll get to experience that in Dubai.

Set among the trees, the festive market will sparkle into the night, featuring themed kiosks, F&B stalls and live performances.

Caesars Palace Bluewaters will be serving up holiday-themed treats at its outdoor area.

Instagrammers rejoice, there will also be a "freeze wall" where you can snap photos of your loved ones in “frozen” poses.

There are loads of prizes to be won with a jumbo advent calendar, including movie and concert tickets, passes to The Green Planet and Laguna Waterpark, and more.

Kids will also be sending letters to Santa through the giant post box, all of which will be displayed on an interactive screen.

Plus, they can take part in festive workshops, making adorable ornaments and decorating gingerbread men, in addition to face painting and balloon bending.

Wait up Santa, we’re coming.
