Hilton Dubai Jumeirah is hosting a "no school" day

Kids under 12 eat free tomorrow at Wavebreaker

Schools in Dubai are off tomorrow (Tuesday February 5) and all the happy parents will be delighted to hear that Hilton Dubai Jumeirah’s Wavebreaker Beach Club has a surprise in store for kiddies.

For the hotel’s Family Day Out, kids under 12 will eat free on Tuesday February 5 on occasion of the impromptu day off. The club will offer little ones a free meal, and complimentary beach and pool access from 9am.

Families can spend the day by the beach or take a dip, then grab a bite from Wavebreakers' beach-cool menu. You'll find is everything on there from healthy salads and sandwiches to supersized, massive burgers.

There’s also a selection of vegan dishes including mixed quinoa salad with butternut pumpkin, mini pita pocket falafel sandwiches and tofu watermelon soaked in balsamic dressing.

The plant-based menu has just launched last month, so whether you’re doing a trial Veganuary month or are full-on vegan, it’s worthy of a gander. The chefs have been grilling, baking and sautéing those greens to come up with a menu as tasty as it is wholesome, and you’re going to want to see what they've produced.

Wavebreaker Beach Club vibes are all laid-back and holiday-esque, and we can’t think of many better ways to spend that one-day staycation.
Free (kids under 12), Dhs180 (adults, beach and pool access). JBR, The Walk, Dubai (04 318 2999).
