Dubomedy launches summer classes for kids and teens

If you’re worried the kids are learning too many dad jokes (sorry, Dad), it might be a good idea to sign them up for Dubomedy’s latest series of classes. Designed for young ones aged 11 to 14, workshops are taking place from Saturday June 29 until Thursday July 11, future comedians, rejoice.

At the Youth Comedy programme, students will learn the basics of improv as well as mastering classic skits. They'll also get individual guidance to create their own unique shows for a final showcase performance – where friends and family get to attend and be the final judges. The course is taught by a professional comedian with more than 12 years of comedy coaching experience.

If you’re looking to do good this month, you can also join Dubomedy’s Catch A Smile campaign where you’ll get a chance to perform random acts of kindness or "small gestures with great love" to brighten up the days of others.

You can do more good deeds this month and join the Catch a Smile team in acknowledging the hard work of public restroom attendants and giving out care packages filled with everything from dates, snacks, chocolate, perfume/oils, dried food products, spices, health and beauty products, to calling cards, dental care supplies, clothing items, towels, sun glasses, accessories and small stuffed animals.

Time to warm up with some funny lines and do good, too.
