The summer break dates for schools in the UAE have been officially announced.
The holidays begin on Thursday July 4, lasting until Saturday August 31, according to the Ministry of Education.
It’s the third and final term for schools following the government curriculum (including all public schools and some private schools) as well as the majority of international private schools.
With several schools holding exams in June, many students have opted to use the long Eid break to revise.
However, for Indian and Pakistani schools, the KHDA has noted that their summer break begins from the 30th of June.
Schools in the UAE follow a unified calendar — but they are allowed to adjust dates for school opening, closing and holidays by a small margin.
