The Waterfront Market announces huge summer family festival

Enjoying the list of deals and activations from Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) so far? There’s one more place joining the summer fun for the whole family  to enjoy.

The Waterfront Market in Deira is setting up a limited-time family festival as part of DSS, and it’s offering families a range of activities from giant snakes and ladders to free-to-use blender bikes for all to take part in.

Going on until Saturday August 3, the buzzing market will have a number of different games set up for adults and little ones to get in on, including giant snakes and ladders, connect four and even foosball and ping pong.

Fancy a fresh smoothie? The Waterfront Market has just the recipe, but you’ll have to make it yourself. Each visitor will be given a basket and recipe card to purchase their ingredients from the fruit and vegetable market.

Then, head over to one of the free blender bikes start peddling to blend their fruity beverage. A spin session and a smoothie? Doesn’t get much healthier than that.

Shoppers can also head over to the Gratticube photo booth for plenty of snaps, which can then be put on the market’s mosaic wall. If you have an artistic hand and want everyone to know “I was here”, grab a piece of chalk and get writing of the Gratticube wall.

All the activities are completely free to enjoy, so if you’re thinking of going on a big grocery shop, you may as well make it a family day out.
