Palm Jumeirah is full of some wonderful places to eat with all the gang, including pizzerias, steakhouses and a number of fine-dining approaches to global cuisines.

Now you can make a weekend of it with the kids and head to Ella’s Eatery, a charming new spot that offers up a bunch of different cuisines throughout the week, including Western and Middle Eastern breakfasts, salads, grill items, snacks, burgers and pizzas.

The kids’ menu will make parents chuckle – and does a good job in persuading fussy little eaters to actually eat something, with dishes named I Don’t Know (crispy chicken, fries and carrot sticks), I Don’t Care (fish, fries and peas), I Don’t Want That (mini burgers and fries) and Whatever (chicken or sweet potato curry with carrot sticks). Desserts include I Don’t Like It Here (ice cream) and I Wanna Go Home (chocolate brownie, caramel and vanilla ice cream).

And for mums and dads, every Wednesday and Thursday the restaurant, which has a gorgeous terrace just in time for the cooler weather, has launched a Dhs70 deal, where you can get your hands on a pizza and a glass of grape.

Inventive pizzas on the menu include The Vegetarian One (sweet potato, tomato, mozzarella, feta, rocket, pine nuts), The Spicy One (spicy chicken chorizo, caramelised red onions, tomato, mozzarella, rocket and chilli), and The Snazzy One (prawns, mozzarella, Parmesan, cherry tomatoes, rocket and pesto).

Head along between 5pm and 11pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays through September and October to make the most of the deal, kicking off on Wednesday September 25.

Dhs70. Wed-Thu, 5pm-11pm. Until Oct 31. Palm Views East, Palm Jumeirah (04 557 0984).
