A new show for babies and toddlers is coming to Dubai

A dance performance aimed specifically at babies and toddlers is coming to Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz.

The Lithuanian dance troupe who have performed in various countries around the world, including a stint at the Fringe during the Edinburgh Festival, is bringing its child-focused show, Puzzle, to Dubai.

As parents we are obsessed on the various developmental milestones that our children hit, from that heart-melting first smile, and hilarious clapping to those all-important first steps.

Dance company DANSEMA, have created an entire performance around a child's cognition in those formative years.

The trio of dancers use movement to portray the various stages a child reaches starting with crawling, creeping and bouncing when they are babies under 12 months, moving on to a two-year-old who walks, runs and claps, before hitting the threenage years represented by galloping, hiding and turning.

Using bright colours and exaggerated facial expressions, the performers engage with their tiny audience, despite being totally silent.
