LEGO launches a cool new Technics set in the UAE

LEGO has launched a cool new Technics set in the UAE allowing kids aged 11 and over to use their skills to build a Land Rover Defender.

Using a total of 2,573 bricks, little masterbuilders can create a realistic mini LEGO version of the recently launched new Land Rover Defender.

The lifelike model comes complete with a functioning gearbox, four-wheel drive, working steering wheel, detailed dashboard and authentic body panels.

And once built, kids can admire their handiwork before giving the car a test drive over their own obstacle courses - the closest they will get to being in charge of a car before they get their driving license.

Niels Henrik Horsted, Marketing Director at the LEGO Group, said: “With every LEGO element, children can build anything they can imagine. I’m very excited about this new model."

"Together with Land Rover, we’ve blended elements, design and innovative engineering into a set that shows the boundless creativity of LEGO play, and that with LEGO Technic you can build for real.”
