Ethical and healthy food for UAE pets

Pet's Delight is serving up healthy eats for cats and dogs

Ethical and healthy food for UAE pets

Pet's Delight, which has stores across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, is bringing pet-parents the healthiest, most nutritious food for their fur-babies.

Got an overweight pooch? Or a fussy cat? Never fear, the self-proclaimed 'ethical pet boutique', which has just opened a brand new store in the Spinney's Umm Suqeim Centre, even has an in-house nutritionist, who can provide free, tailored nutritional advice for any pet.

And we love the fact that it only works with ethical, organic, and sustainable food brands including Ziwi Peak, Fish4Dogs, Canagan, Orijen and Vitalin and that they implement a strong adopt-don't shop policy, meaning you won't find a puppy or a kitten for sale at any of its locations.

Plus, it's not just the pampered pups of loving owners who benefit from Pet's Delight's love of animals.

The charitable organisation sponsors more than 100 dogs at rescue centre, K9 Friends providing the dogs looking for their forever homes with food every day – we can see those tails wagging from here.

But not to be over-looked, felines also benefit from their kindness including The Bin Kitty Collective – that helps and supports the UAE's stray cats.

Farah Al-Khojai, Managing Partner of Arab Land Trading and Pet's Delight, is a pet owner and animal-lover herself, she comments on how education remains of upmost importance for pet owners: “In this era information is key and with so many brands out there it is important that we help to educate residents of the UAE about responsible pet ownership. Whether it be our ‘adopt don’t shop’ or ‘pick up after your dog’ campaigns, employing our own nutritionist, or training our staff on all aspects of pet care, we are passionate about healthy pet living and care."

So go on and indulge your beloved dogs and cats with this puuur-fect (sorry, couldn't resist) pet food.
