A family-friendly performance of Aladdin is coming to the stage at JESS Dubai

It's been a book, a cartoon and a huge blockbuster movie starring Will Smith and Naomi Scott. Now the ancient Middle Eastern folk tale is coming to the stage in Dubai.

A family-friendly production of Aladdin is being performed by the students of JESS Dubai at Arabian Ranches – and you're all invited.

Based on The Book of One Thousand and One Nights (The Arabian Nights), Aladdin tells the tale of a street urchin who discovers a magic lamp containing a genie who offers to grant him three wishes.

86 JESS Dubai secondary students from Years eight to 11 will be taking to the stage in this elaborate production.

The team behind the scenes is made up of 27 Year 12 students who are producing the show – expect plenty of colour and stunning set design.

Magic flying carpets at the ready.
Dhs40 (available at the accounts office). Mon 25, Tue 26 & Wed 27 Nov 6pm. The Auditorium, JESS Dubai, Arabian Ranches, Dubai www.jess.sch.ae
