Celebrate Christmas and get festive with Barney and friends

Mattel Play! Town is becoming a winter wonderland throughout December

Everyone's favourite purple singing dinosaur is throwing a Dubai Christmas party that little ones won't want to miss.

Grab the kids and head to Dubai's Mattel Play! Town between now and Thursday December 26, to take part in all the festivities that Barney and his friends have lined up.

The magical winter wonderland transformation of the popular City Walk edutainment centre means the youngest family members can look forward to festive parades, themed activities, magic shows, balloon bending, stilt walkers, cookie decorating, Christmas arts and crafts, plus a whole load more all included in the entry price (from Dhs110).

For a few dirhams extra, children can get their faces painted (Dhs50) and make some gooey slime (Dhs50).

Plus, Barney himself will be playing Santa as he dishes out pressies to all the little ones on his Christmas nice list.

The Mattel Play! Town halls will be fully decked with a sparkling array of decorations as well as an enormous Christmas tree.

Regular snow flurries are also sure to get the whole gang in the festive spirit.

And while Christmas is mostly about the kids, parents can indulge in a spot of R&R in the dedicated parents lounge where they can sup on unlimited tea or coffee, accompanied by some tasty biscuits (from Dhs75).

Grab the crew and we'll see you there.
Dhs50 (kids under two), from Dhs110 (kids over two). Daily until Thu Dec 26, Fri 10am-8pm & Sat 10am-7pm. City Walk Dubai, Al Safa Street, www.playtowndubai.com.
