Dubai's The Croft has launched a brand-new kids' play area

Looking for somewhere you can have a nice meal out as a family where the kids won't spend the whole time on their iPads, or moaning that they're bored?

British eatery The Croft at Marriott Dubai Harbour Hotel & Suites has transformed its expansive terrace into a haven for the little ones.

The new al fresco play area means the kids can play happily while getting some fresh air at the same time.

A selection of toys on and games are on offer, or they can choose to create and build their own masterpieces out of LEGO.

And if you've got a birthday coming up, kids can celebrate with all their friends at the family-friendly restaurant too.

There is a special kids' menu on offer too where children up to 12 can opt for either two course for Dhs45 or three for Dhs60.

Starters include apple slaw, soup and tempura cauliflower, while kids can pick from chicken tenders, past or a burger for their main.

And because kids are designed with a sweet tooth they can round things off with ice cream, mousse cake or by decorating their own gingerbread man.

The play area will also be open on Fridays should you be considering a child-friendly brunch.

That's supper for the whole tribe sorted, and you don't even need to worry about the washing up.
Dhs45 (kids up to 12 for two courses), Dhs60 (kids up to 12 for three courses). Sun-Fri, 5pm-11pm and Sat 12.30pm-11pm. Marriott Dubai Harbour Hotel & Suites, Dubai Marina, Dubai, www.marriottharbourdubaidining.com (04 319 4000).
