The Stage at StudioRepublik opens in Dubai

StudioRepublik, a sister branch to FitRepublik in Dubai Sports City, is a huge fitness facility that opened in January.

One of the platforms, known as The Stage, offers music, dance and drama classes for kids.

Little ballerinas, plus Ed Sheeran or Rami Malek wannabes, can sign up a programme of performing arts classes at The Stage where the focus is on nurturing the creative talents in each individual performer, from tiny tots to teens and everything in between.

Plus, The Stage is holding hour-long junior assessments every day during the week at 3.30pm and on the weekend at 9am.

So what exactly can your little performers look forward to?

Covering all aspects of music from the technical side to lessons in song writing, top teachers from the prestigious Berklee College of Music run a number of courses at which little music lovers are taught technique, theory and repertoire while being given the confidence to enjoy, express and be creative.

A dedicated dance studio caters to every ability and a range of ages from petit pirouetting tots to twirling teens. Children can learn all the basic skills and the dance techniques in a range of disciplines, from ballet to jazz – and who knows, you may even see them on The Greatest Dancer one day.

Mini drama queen (or king) in the family? At these creative and fun classes, children can learn a range of confidence-building skills through a variety of fun activities such as storytelling, projective play, improvisation and performance. And the Oscar goes to…

Give a round of applause for the latest performing arts centre in Dubai.
Classes run at various times throughout the week and at the weekend. Assessments Sun-Thu 3.30pm-4.30pm, Fri-Sat 9am-11am. Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, (800 235 664).
