Dubai's Sustainable City is holding a flea market for kids

The Sustainable City in Dubai is gearing up to stage a flea market for kids.

If your little ones are looking to have a clear out of all their old toys, books and clothes then they can book themselves a stall at the second-hand market for Dhs50.

Taking place on Saturday February 8, the all-day boot sale means savvy kiddos can unleash their selling power to shift their unwanted loot at a price.

But there are plenty of other fun activities going on between 10am and 6pm that the whole family can enjoy.

From pizza making at Fleazza and classes in repurposing everyday items to turn them into pieces of art, there is lots to keep everyone entertained.

Plus, cute canines aren't overlooked either as the family day out includes fur babies too.

And if you don't have a pampered pet, you may be able to pick up a new four-legged friend as there will be an opportunity to adopt some gorgeous dogs and cats looking for their forever home.

One person's rubbish is another person's treasure after all.
Free (entry), Dhs50 (per stall). Sat Feb 8, 10am-6pm. The Sustainable City, Al Qudra Rd, Dubai, www.thesustainablecity.ae (04 347 5955).
