Four fab kids cooking classes to try in Dubai

Kids in Dubai put your aprons on and get ready to make a mess because here are three cool cookery classes you’ll want to try.

Boardwalk
Little ones love pizza? Probably. But it will taste even better when they’ve whipped it up themselves. Mini chefs will be let loose to create their own delicious versions of Italy’s favourite dish (and ours). Plus little pizza Picassos will be given their very own chef’s hat and an apron – before they start throwing cheese and tomato paste around, don’t worry Mums and Dads – both of which they can take home as a momento from their day. Oh, and they get an ice cream and their choice of soft drink of juice, too. Molto Bene!
Dhs50 per child. Daily noon-midnight. Dubai Creek Marina, www.dubaigolf.com (04 295 6000).

Brioso
Release your little ones into the kitchen where they can work on their culinary creativity while Mums and Dads relax and tuck into some Italian classics.
Budding Massimo Bottura’s will be given the opportunity to throw on their preferred toppings before the pizza masters place them expertly into the wood-fired oven. Get cooking kiddos.
Dhs59 per child. Sat 14 Mar, Sat 28 Mar, Sat 11 Apr, Sat 25 Apr, Sat 9 May, Sat 30 May, 3pm-7pm. Crowne Plaza Dubai – Deira, www.ihg.com (04 262 5555).

Ravioli & Co
Every Saturday mini chefs can learn to make pasta and pizza from scratch at a culinary masterclass. Best of all, they can tuck into the end product and get a glass of juice to wash it all down with. Cant say fairer than that. Buon appetito Dubai-based famiglias.
Sat 4pm-5pm and 5pm-6pm. Burj Daman, podium level, DIFC, www.ravioliandco.ae (04 241 1616).

wagamama
Every weekend mini chefs can master the art of cooking healthy food at the wagamama on Palm Jumeirah. Tiny tots aged three up to pre-teens of 11, can look forward to hands on experience in the kitchen as they are taught how to prepare delicious dishes using healthy and nutritious ingredients. Their recipes will include dishes from the wagamama kids' menu such as the chicken katsu curry or the mini yaki soba, which will be prepared by the little ones before the wagamama chefs put on an exciting cooking show and bring their tasty creations to life for them to tuck into. You can look forward to putting their new-found culinary skills to the test come Friday morning – breakfast in bed mums and dads?
Dhs50 (kids three-11). Every Fri and Sat, from 11am-12.30pm (from Fri Dec 6). Palm Jumeirah (04 551 0192).
