The Green Planet is now open again

If you've been missing your favourite tropical creatures, you'll be pleased to know that they are all doing well and are ready to receive visitors again

The Green Planet has re-opened and has updated some of its cool animal experiences including a new edition of Zookeepers for The Day and VIP Tours.

But at this stage in time, children under 12 and adults over 60 are still not allowed to visit.

The indoor ecosystem offers guests (over 12 and under 60) the opportunity to get up close and personal with over 3,000 exotic plants and animals. From witnessing a live feeding frenzy of more than 1,000 piranhas, snapping a picture with the sleepy sloths or holding the creepy crawlies to taking a journey down under at The Australian Walkabout.

The new experiences at The Green Planet are:

Zookeeper for the Day Experience
Zookeeper for the day launched in 2020 and gives the chance to experience a day in the life of a Green Planet Biologist. The experience has now been modified to suit a group of up to six people, and includes a three hour guided tour of the facility, along with animal feeding, behind the scenes experience of animal care and up close interaction with some of The Green Planet residents.
Dhs390 per person including general admission. Daily 8.30am-11.30am and 3.30pm-6.30pm.

VIP Tour
Ever had a burning question about a Sloth, or fancied a private feeding session with an Archer fish? Now is the chance to experience a personal VIP tour of The Green Planet. Get shown the hidden parts of the bio-dome and receive a fully guided tour, a live Archer Fish feeding and get up close and personal with a snake or lizard meet and greet. One group (up to six people) at one time to follow social distancing guidelines.
Dhs160 per person on top of general admission.
