Dubai’s popular family entertainment centre Fun City is back, but this time it’s all about safety.
After several months at home, Dubai is slowly reopening, with soft play and kids’ entertainment centres now allowed to reopen – with strict health and safety measures in place.
And after all that time at home, learning and playing in the house, kids around Dubai can now get excited to head back to Fun City. And now Fun Day Mondays are back too – where all blue swiper games and rides are just Dhs1.
Fun City isn’t just about games and rides though, it’s about how children learn, grow, and develop their cognitive and motor skills.
There are now more than 50 locations of Fun City across the GCC, include in Dubai in Century Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Mercato Mall, Oasis Mall, and Arabian Center.
Fun Block, a Landmark Leisure brand like Fun City, has reopened its doors in Dubai as well at First Avenue Mall, Motor City, Arabian Centre, and in Oasis Mall, Sharjah. Fun Block has climbing walls, trampolines, and focuses on the active play for children.
The brand has built a “play community” of “fun” members with its prime focus towards the growth and development of kids.
When the world was quiet, Fun City kept in touch with parents, checking on them and devising fun things to do as a family at home. It also took on board their valuable feedback to reassess how they would enjoy the UAE’s much-loved indoor playgrounds once it reopened its doors.
Fun City’s focus has been on how to best safeguard the wellbeing and build the confidence of parents by putting the most innovative and enhanced safety measures in place.
Fun City has been committed and dedicated to this – making Fun City a Safe City.
Apart from the new normal of maintaining a safe distance and wearing masks, Fun City conducts mandatory health screening through temperature checks before you enter. Once you’re inside you’ll find floor stickers to help you maintain a safe distance and the staff has been trained to guide you every step of the way.
All staff also go through temperature checks every day and wear masks and gloves all the time. They are here to take care of you every step of the way.
As an added extra Fun City has implemented further safety measures to minimise contact such as no longer using paper tickets and turning to e-tickets that are loaded directly onto the power card. Fun City also aims on operating safely while ensuring the rides and games can be enjoyed to its full effect. Staggered boarding on rides is one of the safety measures that have been put in place. Members from the same family can ride together while maintaining a safe distance from other customers.
The whole facility has been fumigated and sanitisation is being done at regular intervals across all stores every single day. To reduce contact is touch-free hand sanitisers have been made available across the outlet to keep those germs away.
Fun City also encourages you to load your powercard online to help you skip queues and top up from home. Separate entry and exit points have been designated at the store and cashless payments are encouraged to safeguard your wellbeing.
Looking to play safely? Fun City is for your family.
