There are so many magical Christmas activities happening around Dubai, and this weekend The Sustainable City is going all out to throw a festive bash that the whole gang will love.
Bring the whole family together (and try not to be too competitive) as you build gingerbread houses. However, these are no ordinary homes made out of sweet biscuit, rather you will be upcycling a slew of everyday, recyclable materials to create your masterpiece.
Little ones can enjoy making and decorating their own ornaments for mums and dads to proudly display on their tree at home, or satisfy their crafty side and their sweet tooth by decorating some cute Christmas cookies – yum!
Even the tiniest of tots aren't overlooked with art play, a carousel, spectacular magic show and heaps of sensory experiences to make them giggle.
And when they've all had their fill of arts and crafts and sweets and biscuits (phew), they can go and meet the main man in red.
Father Christmas will be hanging around to hear the children's big wishes, as well as to pose for a selfie with the mini Santa Claus fans.
Then it's time to hitch a ride on the adorable choo choo train that whizzes (okay, not really, more like chugs) around The Sustainable City.
Horse-mad kiddos will want to queue up for a pony ride, while other four-legged friends are also invited to tag along. Bring your pampered pooch for a fun day out that really does include the whole gang.
Free entry. Sat Dec 14, 10am-6pm. The Sustainable City, Al Qudra Road, www.thesustainablecity.ae (04 347 5955).
