Kids' Theatre Works! arranges acting classes for children in Dubai

…All ye budding thespians, for another jam-packed term of drama and performance art.

Drama Scene courses for kids and teens start on September 13 and include storytelling, creative movement, improvisation and role play – all with a view to taking Lamda examinations. Register online ( or pop along and meet the crew at Ductac, every Saturday from 3pm-4pm. Drama Scene is also holding auditions on Saturday September 5 for its musical theatre production course at Ductac. Teens aged 13 to 16 years are welcome to audition for the 13-week programme, run by renowned British musical actress Natasha Kemball, which ends with a musical production.

Kids’ Theatre Works! offers top-quality courses in a variety of theatrical disciplines including creative drama, musical theatre, acting and physical theatre. It is holding auditions at 9am on Saturday September 12 at Ductac, where kids will get to show off their acting, singing and dance abilities and, based on their performance, will be signed up to the right course for them. No one will be rejected – the audition is about ensuring the kids are in a course that best suits their talents. Term starts at Ductac on September 13 and at Mirdif, DESS and Jebel Ali Primary School on September 27. Kids’ Theatre Works! is also launching classes in Al Ain at the House of Arts on September 9.
