Dubai kids & TV

Should young children be allowed to watch TV?

A study commissioned by the Australian government has recommended tots under two be banned from watching television and that kids aged two to five years should watch no more than one hour of TV every day.

It says exposure to television at an early age can delay language development, harm concentration and lead to obesity.

In the same month, Disney has offered refunds to US parents who bought Baby Einstein DVDs and have been disappointed that their bubs weren't transformed into brainboxes overnight.

What do you think? Is TV educational or harmful? What's your family's TV policy? And what do you think of kids' TV progammes in Dubai?
