Offering a huge fusion menu of eastern and western dishes, if your brood leans towards the fussy side, this is a great place to eat. The Dubai Festival City restaurant is pretty frenetic, with a big open kitchen from which emanates delicious aromas, clouds of steam and the clanking of dishes during the lunchtime rush. All this means noise levels aren’t as low as they could be, but if you’re dining out with the kids, that’s probably a good thing.
Crayons and colouring sheets, along with a kids’ menu that offers baby portions of bolognese, penne, fish and chips, little pizzas and chicken bites (note the chicken and fish are choice cuts prepared on site – no frozen fodder here) are doled out without delay. For mum and dad, burgers, steaks and choice servings of fish are nestled alongside nasi goreng, seafood noodles, Thai green curries, spicy soups and a fantastic sushi selection. Personally, we love the Japengo steaks which are cooked to perfection, melt in the mouth and are served with al dente veggies and mash.
