Pop along to Kidville’s holiday party
Tons of fun is guaranteed at Kidville’s festive celebration, which will also give you the chance to check out the fab facilities at the same time. For a local experience with a seasonal slant, head to the desert with Gulf Ventures’ Festive Camp, where you can take a sleigh ride down the sand dunes, have a bash at sandboarding and dig into a delicious barbecue festive feast. Featuring traditional tunes, festive decor and even a Santa’s grotto, this under-the-stars seasonal soiree promises to be a magical experience.

Tread the boards at a theatre camp
Check your pint-sized performers (aged seven to 14) into Ductac’s week-long Winter Theatre Camp. Here, they’ll explore the world of theatre through the ‘Home Alone in Winter’ theme, culminating in a creative performance for parents.

See the tree twinkle at Dubai Polo Club
Trot down to Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club for the seasonal switch-on in the Saha Courtyard. With your welcome drink in hand, watch the tree come alive, before digging into delicious mince pies.

Winter dance camp at Kadomz Dance Studio
Avoid seasonal stress by enrolling your little one in one of the many Christmas holiday camps that start today. Book your limelight-loving little ones (aged seven to 12) into this funky winter dance camp, where they’ll practise and perform jazz, breakdancing and musical theatre.

Make gorgeous gifts at KidzArt
Let your little ones (aged five to 12) loose with paper and paints at KidzArt Winter Workshop, where they can create perfect personalised pressies for family and friends without you having to clean up the mess. They’ll get to try three exciting projects using fun materials and new art mediums, including cave painting with watercolours. If you miss this three-day workshop, there’s another one from December 26-28 at Uptown Primary School in Mirdif.
